Here is my second submission for this week's
over at Barb's, Haunted Design House blog.
'Gothic Asian Persuasion" is the theme.
I think I nailed it.
This guy was just begging' for some horns!
I also elongated his ears and then I clear embossed the entire image
so I could blend in the background color.
Note to self: be neater next time you clear emboss.
I went over the scroll work inthe background with a Sakura glitter glaze pen.
Aside from the shoddy clear embossing, I think it turned out pretty cool.
I just noticed you need to change your 'about me' info - you're on the Hambo DT now, aren't you?!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, what I came by to say was, if you didn't mention 'shoddy embossing' I wouldn't have noticed. I thought it was intentional; looks like dudeman's grounded, sitting on one of those giant floor pillow thingers. I think it looks awesome! (Love his horns, too, btw.)
I also wanted to ask you if you've ever heard of Bombshell Stamps before... They sell classic tattoo & pin-up stamps, as well as an array of Dia de los Muertos sets - thought maybe you might like them. You can see some of them used on my blog (www.pinkstarcreations.blogspot.com) or at the store at www.bombshellstamps.com.
Have a great day - hopefully you stop by my blog for a visit!
Freakin'-sweet! LOVE the big ol' horns and those ears :) Beautiful work... thanks so much for playing along with Macabre Monday (again!!!!)!
