Merry Creepmas! Final reveal Day 13

Just when you thought it would never end, 

we have reached Day 13 of the 13 Days of Creepmas hop!!

I don't think that I have ever consistently posted for 13 days straight.

It was a lot of work, but so worth the killer projects I came up with using some incredibly wicked and wonderful images from Rick St. Dennis.

Since we received a visit from Sandy Claws yesterday, it only makes sense that we would be celebrating New Year's next, right?

Let's say, "Goodbye" to 2012 and, "Hello" to 2013!!!

Well, if that "Zombie Chorus Girl" from Rick St. Dennis represents 2012,

then it really has been one rough, "tore up from the floor up" kind of year! 

And by the looks of "Baby New Year", 2013 is gonna be ruddy, if nothing else.

Rick suggested that I color her in a sickly yellow.

I'm not sure if this is what he envisioned, but I think she turned out pretty cool, and I never would have thought to use yellows (and blue violets for shadows) for zombie skin. Perfect for that putrescent pallor. 

Well, this is the end of the 13 Days of Creepmas, and this is the

grand finale to my Merry Creepmas box.

Creepmas: Day 12 - almost there....

As promised for Day 12, the lid to my Merry Creepmas box.

I think it kind of sets the overall tone for the entire project, don't you?

I used "Sandy Claws", by Rick St. Dennis.

Looks like Santa had reindeer for lunch. With a side order of rabies!

I used some acrylic snowflakes that I have had in my stash for way too long,

and I got to use my new Memorybox snowflake die. I chopped two different ones in half and glued (I'm a good gluer!) them behind the shady Santa.

I made a bit of a mess with the glue and added some 

Diamond Dust to hide the shiny glue marks. 

First time I've used it and I realize I need to use a 

thicker glue next time, but it did serve it's purpose in this case.

Nice and sparkly like newly fallen snow! 

And the piece de resistance!

I used my new holiday cheer sentiment from  Stampotique!!!

Perfection!!!!

Creepmas: Day 9

Well, we're nearing the home stretch with only 4 more days left

in our 13 Days of Creepmas celebration. 

 

Today I used "I am too Santa!" from Rick St. Dennis.

It's kind of futile at this point to pick a favorite image

from Rick's Creepmas line. I love sooo many of them! 

I used a Memorybox swirly tree die cut, some half pearls,

a strip of brown snowflake ribbon, and some

buttons.

He's got the prettiest eyes!!

Creepmas: Day 7

Well, we're a little over half way there!
Day 7 of the 13 Days of Creepmas is upon us.

I have another card for you to check out today, along with some other 
holiday goodies later in the post, so stick around.

I used Rick St. Dennis' "Creepmas Toy Boy" image

for this card.

Check out the kisser on this poor kid!

I am pleased with how his complexion turned out.

I was going for a bruised look.

How cool is this toy?

Who wouldn't want one of these under their Creepmas tree?

Well, me, I guess. I already have one.

This guillotine is over 50 years old. It's another one of the treasures

I inherited for my Grandparents. Actually, when my son was asked what he

wanted from their estate, he said, "The guillotine and the Barbie!".

Then when it arrived, he decided it was too creepy and dusty for him.     

Yeah, it's dusty, but it is sooo cool!

My Grandparents were magicians, and they were married on October 31st.

Need I say more?

I come by my strangeness, quite naturally.

Creepmas: Day 5

"And on the fifth day of Creepmas, Krampus gave to me...

five shrunken heads!!!!"

Well, just one actually, but who's counting?

I inherited Mummsford, from my Grandfather after he passed

away last year. 

Between Mummsy and Juan (the stuffed harp playing Iguana,

I also inherited from Grandpa), they have quite the seasonal

head wear collection.

December 5th already? Man, time flies when you get old!

Seems like I was still counting down to Hallowe'en last week!

Here is my Creepmas card for today.

Today's card showcases Rick's "Voodoo Doll" image.

I have always had a fascination with Voodoo dolls and after I found out they

gave my husband the creeps, I liked them even more.  

I used Copics to color this little dude and then I added some Glossy Accents to the pin heads and to his eyes for some dimension and shine.  

I used a great new (to me)  Memorybox die for the wreath, added some 

MS punched branches to form a bough of pine, and then I added a little bow and a stick pin to finish it off.

I added some Sizzix corner embellies to accent the card a bit more.

And then, I Stickled the begeejus out of everything.

Creepmas: Day 4

I am having so much fun making these cool Creepmas cards and ATCs. 

I used to have to modify existing cute holiday images and make them into

creepy and or evil images with the help of a Sharpie.

Luckily, I have found Uncle Rick (that's Rick St. Dennis to you),

and his wonderfully wicked digital images, just perfect for the 

"Creepy Crafter".

He also draws the most amazing mainstream images for all occasions,

but that's not why we're here.

It's all about Creepmas!!!

I have made another ATC using "Sad Frosty."

He is available for purchase here.

I colored Frosty in Copic E50's and backed him up on some

nice blue argyle dp, mounted onto some kraft card stock.

I used a MS punched snowflake, a bit of ribbon, and some
Stickles for added interest.
