Monsters in Love

Through a dear friend, I met a really cool guy, named Chuck.
Chuck makes masks, and busts, and other neat horror-themed schtuff for his
own cool company.
Chuck just got married to a super cool ghoul, named Amanda.
They were married on Friday, December 13, 2013, which is quite cool ,
but they made it even more badass by getting  hitched on the property of
the Phantasm House! Not only the house where Phantasm was filmed, but
Burnt Offerings was also filmed there! Way cool, right?
So, what kind of card do you make some wickedly cool kids like that?

How about this one?

I chose a good still from The Bride of Frankenstein, and added a
neat sentiment that I found on the interwebs. I overlayed, and adjusted
 the verbiage using Gimp.

This is my favorite part.
I used some TH grunge board for the #13,
and added rock candy crackle paint to it. Once it was dry, I used my
finger to apply silver and green metallic rubs to bring out the
marvelous texture. I added some rub to the plastic spider, too.
I dripped some red reinker onto a white paper rose to give a bloody
feeling to the whole piece.

I also made them a couple of Skullflake ornaments for their tree this year.

Check out those sparkly sockets!

I'm sending it all out (finally) this week. Hope they like it.

Bring it on!

The countdown to Hexmas has begun.
December first has come (and nearly) gone.
24 more days until the pressure is off. I can't wait.
I'm ready to see if 2014 is going to be a better year for me and my loved ones.
I'm hopeful, and am looking forward. That's it, just forward.
It's the best that I can do at the moment.

I have found some to time to be creative and get ready for
Cyber Monday in my Etsy shop.
If you use coupon code CYBERWEEK20
you can save 20% off your entire order from now until Sunday the 8th.
I'll be adding new items frequently, so keep checking back.

Keep it creepy!

Creepmas: Day 10

I can't believe it's been 10 days since we started this event!
I have quite the stack of Creepmas paper crafts to show for it, too.
I have some pre-printed holiday cards this year, but some lucky
folks will receive some of my handmade cards.
As awesome as I think my cards are, not everyone appreciates the work or the
creativity I put into them. And not everyone enjoys a monster on their
holiday cards. Sheesh! I can't imagine, but to each their own.
Today's box panel is showcasing "Creepmas Dolls" image from
She doesn't look that pleased with her dollies does she?
I'd gladly take them off her hands, but I have a feeling she (or they)
may put up quite a fight!

After coloring everyone with Copics, I used a few punches and die cuts to play off of the spider web in the wreath. I have way more spider stuff
than dolly embellishments, so this worked for me.

Next up on the RSD hop is Aletha

Just a quick personal plug for my Etsy shop,
I listed this ornament for sale in my shop here.
I will be listing some mini skullflakes later this evening, and who knows
what other unique, one of a kind, ornaments may find their way into the
shop as well!
Thanks for visiting!

Merry Creepmas!!
