Check me out! I'm a snarky Princess!

Easter is fast approaching. Seems like it was just Christmas.
Although my yard is in full bloom, and I am well stocked
in allergy meds, it still seems too soon for spring.
Which officially begins on Friday. Yay.

I am thrilled to have been invited to play along with the
I have snark in spades, so this should just be a weekly
event for me anyway.
Since the theme is Easter, I cooked up a lil' hasenpfeffer.
Or maybe he's not quite cooked thoroughly yet....

See?
Even Easter can be adequately creeped up thanks to

Happy Creepster!!

I used one of my handmade zombie brains and made a fancy schmancy
embellishment with some black tulle and pearl thingies.
It's nice, right?

And no creepy make is complete without some MS drippy goo punch.
I layered it up in different colors for a festive feel.

I typeset this sentiment myself using Gimp.
I thought I had a stamp of it somewhere, but must have just been
wishful thinking on my part.

Thanks so much to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for inviting me
to play along with them this week. Nothin' better than gettin' my snark on
with the sisters!!

SBS Sweet Gothic Easter previews

Today I have a couple more Easter previews from

The first one is Tilly.

Much to my dismay,  I didn't have any papers with pink
spiders on them, so I went ahead and made my own.
I opted for black spiders on pink paper though.

She is quite a cutie with her tiny pink spiders
all over her umbrella.
Tilly was lots of fun to color and I especially like her
cotton candy pink hair. And those green eyes...

Next up is Sally.

I went with a very subtle pallet, and kept the colors fairly
light and spring-y. One of my favorite color combos for
spring is yellow and purple.
I colored a satin fleur to match and added grosgrain leaves
to finish it off.

I really like how Sally turned out.
I want a bouquet like hers with tiny pink
bats fluttering about. Too cute!
I really like all the details in these images that
make them such fun to create with and very
versatile outside of Easter projects.

The final preview and release is tomorrow and then all six of
these babies will be available for purchase at

SBS Sweet Gothic Easter preview

Today is the first day of the new SBS
Sweet Gothic World Kids Easter previews.

Today we are peeking at Alex.

I wanted to make it look like he was tripping over something,
but it just didn't translate well. I decided to stick with a funkier
vibe, as the bright, cheery Easter colors just didn't compliment
the skulls as well as the teal and green did.

I also was at a loss for a witty little sentiment,
(I should have hit Cheri up for one)
but one picture is worth a thousand words right?
Easter is a hard holiday to make creepy without
offending someone or making a bloody mess.
Consider this my Sunday gift to you. No blood.

I'll be back later this week with more previews and
something bloody.... I promise.

Don't touch his eggs!

This is my submission for this week's Designer's Challenge
I have been wanting to participate for some time now,
but life keeps getting in the way.
I was instantly inspired to play this week once the image of 'Bowtie'
wearing bunny ears popped into my head.

The colors I chose are bordering on heinous, but I like 'em.
I also had a fun time drawing the bunny ears and am quite pleased with the overall look.
I don't usually re-work a card, but the first version of this card was a bit off.
I didn't want to take a chance dismantling the card and ruining the image, so I just pulled of the offending ribbon and added Primas.
I think it was an improvement.

A Little Late ...

Here it is the Monday after Easter, and I am finally posting my Easter cards. I love this set of stamps I got from Close To My Heart. It's called, "Bunny Love".
