Just for grins

I am back today with a new card that
I am very proud of.

I have used the "Gargoyles of Notre Dame" image from
the Crafts and Me line of Jasmine Becket-Griffith art.
I intended to enter this card in the Crafts and Me challenge this week
of "Adding a Charm", but I didn't wanna add a charm after I got this far.
I like it the way it is.

I also broke out with a new item for me.
It's a metal die from Tickled Pink,
and this is the Hallowe'en stamp set that goes with it.
I still need some practice getting everything straight, but it's
still way cool! LOVE the artwork on this!!!
Here's a close-up of this killer image and her awesome wings!
I had fun coloring her with a new (to me) technique that is
making the rounds. The latest tutorial I have seen can be found here.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Thanks so much for dropping by!

Finally, Pink Lightning!!!

I am a recent lover of Crafts and Me stamps.
Mainly due to the fact that they are carrying
I am a fan of Jasmine's art and have a few of her
prints framed and hanging in my home.
When I found out that Crafts and Me were carrying
her designs, I just had to get my hands on the rubber!
Easier said than done, I'm afraid. Those stamps
kept selling out faster than I could order the main
image I was after, "Pink Lightning". She is gorgeous!

Well, after much anticipation, the highly coveted rubber arrived!!

See? I told you she was gorgeous!!

I colored her in shades of teal and green and I love her!
I popped her onto some foam dimensionals on top
of a fleur de lis rectangle from Spellbinders.
Then I added some custom colored fleurs and some
pearl stamen to finish it all off.

I would like to enter this in the current
Crafts and Me challenge of "Favourites".

Thanks for stopping by!

Mmmenacing Mmmermaids Mmmacabre Mmmonday

I'm a day late for my Wicked Wednesday
installment of this week's Macabre Monday challenge.
"I want to see Menacing Mermaids!", shrieked the
Masterful Mistress. And the Minions made it so.

I remember a few years back, I took my son to see
a Peter Pan movie. They had Mermaids in that movie.
Some of the scariest freaking Mermaids ever! My son still
talks about those, "nasty fish chicks".

I had the recent pleasure of doing business with
Teresa, from Crafts and Me.
She is an awesome lady, and a stellar business owner.
There was a hold up with her stamp manufacturer for the
new Jasmine Becket Griffith images, and as a thank you
for my patience, she gifted me some digital images from her shop.

I chose the "Columbine" image with this week's challenge in mind.
I think she's a bit on the menacing side. Did ya check out her ears?!
This gorgeous image was a bit challenging to color, but I am happy
with how she turned out.

I used some Sweet Pea webbed ribbon I got on clearance at
Hambo Stamps. All of their May Arts ribbons are 50% off!!
I also used my new Spellbinders Fleur de Lis rectangles
and some crazy ass, Dee Gruenig paper I've had forever!

Please drop by Haunted Design House and see what the
other Minions have created. Maybe even join in on
the fun if you dare!
