Been better

Life has really been taking me on a ride lately.
I didn't agree to this ride, but it is what it is.
Just tryin' to ride it out at this point.
And on top off the shit I am dealing with,
let's throw a horrendous head cold in to top it all off, shall we?
This one is much cuter than the snot monsters I have seen lately.

Anyhoo, here is a quick update of some of the projects I neglected to post
when they were still relevant.

Here are two ATCs I made for the Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge.
The theme WAS owls. Now it's Back to school. I missed entering these in time.

I used Justin Pike's owl images and the last one includes a quote

Next up is my new profile picture.
This is a Zombie Lucky Cat from Philip Hynes.
I don't think it is available any longer, but Phil was nice enough
to gift this one to me.

It was already base painted in the green,
so I added all the rest of the paint and even got some
glow in the dark goodness going on in all of the bones and the eye.
I shall name him, "Precious". Or "Malachi".
Thank you Phil!!!

And here we have the cutest little clove of garlic EVAH!!!
My dear friend Michell makes the most amazing sculpts!!
Her shop,  Covington Creations is a must see!!

Awesome straight jacketed bat pendant. He actually hangs
upside down and will be perfect with my outfit for the
Vampire Ball coming in October.

I am not sure exactly what this guy is, but I do know that he
is brilliant!!!!
Thanks for the early b.day gifts Michell! You ROCK!!

That's it for now.
I'll be back with more schtuff to share later this week.

More talent in her little finger.....

So I am still crushing on my new
soul sistah, Michele Covington.
She is the mastermind behind some of the most
detailed, unique, and whimsical sculptures I
have ever laid my discerning eyes on!

Her shop on Etsy is called,
Covington Creations.

I have so many of her pieces that I lovingly call my
collection, "The Covington Collection", but may
be changing that to "The Covington Asylum for the
Mentally Deranged" collection.

This is just a small smattering of her work.

"'Ello!" "I said, 'ello!'
This guy totally reminds me of the worm from
"Labyrinth".

Who doesn't love a mad purple bunny??!!
In a straight jacket!!!

This is "Edgar, the Destructive Bat".
He was sorta inspired by my (in my head) Uncle Edgar
from the show, "Oddities" on the Science channel.
"Is that a sssstraight jacket?"

Check out all of the details!!! Brilliant!!!

I fondly refer to this guy as a "Stitchling".
LOVE his little hat!

LOVE this pendant!
Michele makes all kinds of wonderful art
including jewelry, potion bottles, sculptures, and is
also open to custom orders as well.
Please drop by her shop and take a look around.
You may just find the perfect gift for a hard to shop for,
cool kid on your Xmas list.

Etsy find: Covington Creations

As you know, I have an Etsy shoppe.
As you also may have deduced from my previous postings,
I like to shop.
I mainly love to shop on Etsy for unique, and strange, hand crafted items.

I recently had the immense pleasure of doing a little
"artisan trading" with the lovely and talented,
Michell Covington, of

I have been stalking and admiring her clay art for some time
now and have been trying to decide which of her creations
I wanted to purchase when she listed,
"Mr. Creepers".
I immediately emailed Michell and told her
I must have Mr. Creepers.
After a bit of negotiating, and a handful of pumpkins,
he was all mine.
Thank you Michell!

Please stop by Michell's Etsy shoppe,
and if you're as cool as me, you'll
want to own a piece of her amazing art.
