This is my submission for this week's Designer's Challenge
over at Stampotique's blog.
I have been wanting to participate for some time now,
but life keeps getting in the way.
I was instantly inspired to play this week once the image of 'Bowtie'
wearing bunny ears popped into my head.
The colors I chose are bordering on heinous, but I like 'em.
I also had a fun time drawing the bunny ears and am quite pleased with the overall look.
I don't usually re-work a card, but the first version of this card was a bit off.
I didn't want to take a chance dismantling the card and ruining the image, so I just pulled of the offending ribbon and added Primas.
I think it was an improvement.
This is freakin' awesome!!! You've got the mad coloring skills, and I love BowTie with bunny ears... it makes me smile :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE THE COLOUR COMBINATION, IT ACTUALLY MAKES THE CARD!
ReplyDeleteThis is a rocking card. I like the Primas better too.
ReplyDeletewonderful colour choice and he looks fab with bunny ears!
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't think there was anything wrong with the ribbon, I do think it is even better with the flowers and skull! I totally LOVE this creepy Easter card! Love him with the ears, too! :-)Traci
ReplyDeleteYou did a phenomenal job with this challenge!!! It's fantastic! Thanks for joining us at the Stampotique Designers Challenge!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this card, and now I need to get another stamp.... he is so cute!
ReplyDeleteThis card is so freaking cute. The good way of cute: big bow and ears, almost "heinous" colours and huge prima flowers with a skull. You don't think that these things go well together but you did a fantastic work and they match perfectly. Great
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous!!!! Love it@
