In a Galaxy far far away...

Just had to squeeze in one more card before the month is over.
This time I used an Oddball Art Co. stamp.

I'm still trying to catch up on all of my thank you cards from the holidays.
I try to make each one with the recipient in mind.

I knew the second I saw this image that I wanted to make a card
for my dear friend, Nel with it. She was showing off her newest tattoo
at my New Year's Day open house. It was a mash up of the Death Star
and a Mickey head. She designed it herself.

I used some Oddball digi papers from the Space Skulls set.
I printed it out onto some sparkly paper and it looks amazing!
Goes perfectly with this awesome image of Princess Leia #301.
I made the "thank you's" myself ,and used some distress oxide inks
to kind of match the background paper.

I'd like to enter this card in the current challenge at Oddball Art Co.
with the theme of Razzle my Dazzle.

Angling for Some Love

Greetings!
Just popping in real quick with a fun little card
I made for Valentine's day.

This handsome fella is from Hellgnome Death Digis.

I colored him using Copic markers.
I created the background using a stencil and some
Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Black Diamond.

I fussy cut the fish, added a lovely heart shaped jewel to his
dingly thing, and popped him up on foam dots.

That's it for now.
Pop by the Hellgnome digi shop and pick up some cool images.

I'm late! I'm late!!

Not a good way to start off the new year , but I'm a few days behind
in my Hellgnome post for this week.
Better late than never, I suppose.

I used the Hellgnome Skull balloon image as my main focus.
I popped it into my Gimp program and manipulated the
image to create a bunch.

I colored the balloons in my favorite color combo,
and then fussy cut them out so I could play with their
arrangement more, and give them dimension with foam tape.

Lastly, I glued some baker's twin onto the back of each balloon,
and gathered them behind an inked TH quote chip.
Also, double points for using the TH packaging as my background paper.
I just distressed it a bit with some paint splatter and distress inks.
I love the spider web design in the Halloween packaging.
The hoarder who  lives in my craft room forbid me to throw it out.

Thanks for stopping by!
I have a bunch of new goodies to play with and I can't wait to show you
what I make with them.
