12 Days of CREEPMAS Oddball style!!

Today is the day!
Or today is MY day to be more specific.
I get to share my Creepy Cute holiday creations with you
for the
12 Days of Creepmas
with Oddball Art Co.

I have such wonders to share with you using Oddball stamps.
Most of my makes include the Creepy Cute Chronicles freebie images.
And to further prove my point that you should join the exclusive
members club, I'm using some of the exclusive images as well.

There are plenty of prizes to be won, including two free memberships to
the Creepy Cute Chronicles Exclusive Members club for one year.
And to top it all off, I am personally offering a
$20 Oddball Art Co gift certificate and a handmade card.
All you need to do to be entered is leave a comment on each of the
designer's blogs, including Lizzy's to let her know you completed the
requirements. Maybe even let her know how much you enjoyed the hop.
She worked really hard on this!
All winners will be chosen and announced on
December 23rd.

Without further ado...

I fell in love with this adorable pup the very second
I saw him as a Creepy Chronicles freebie.
Oh, did you miss out on him?
Well, all the more reason to join the Exclusives club,
because membership gains you access to previous images!

I added the Bone Wreath image #351,
and the Creepmas Tree image #487.
Both available in the Oddball Art Co shop.

This little red hooded lady was also a previous
CCC newsletter freebie image.

Who doesn't need a Creepmas Bat for their holiday cards?
Both images are CCC images.

Gwendolyne is super cute with her tiny horned buddy,
and the girlie ghostie from the skeleton pupper set.
That cool gooey background paper is from Oddball Art Co..
Lizzy's digital papers work great for her images,
(any images for that matter),
and they all compliment each other perfectly.

This image gave me an excuse to break out with the Liquid Applique.
That neglected stuff was almost ivory in the tube,
but whitened right up when I heated it up with the ol' heat gun.

This guy just may be my very favorite.
It's like I can almost feel his pain...

He paired up perfectly with another Creepmas Tree,
and a fun and snarky sentiment.
He is also a previous CCC image.

Every year I am in dire need of gift tags.
The stitched coffin dies are perfect for my tag shapes.
Using one of the CCC holiday zombie hands,
and that cute skeleton pupper a in smaller size to fit the tag.
One of the many perks to using digital images is their versatility.
You can resize, crop, and even flip them to suit your needs.

Here's where the other two hands crawled off to!
I will probably be making more of these before the week is over.

It was a long post, but I appreciate you sticking with me.

Be sure to leave a kind comment to be entered in the giveaways.
Naughty comments get lumps... of coal.

The more peculiar the better!!

Gah!
Another Halloween season is behind me, and I couldn't feel less
accomplished in pretty much every aspect of my life.

I guess that's why I feel so deeply honored to be asked to
create for Lizzy of Oddball Art Co. It has been just the nudge
I needed to get going creatively again.

I mean, how can you NOT be inspired by this artwork?
Since really embracing my inner witchiness,
these kind of images really resonate with me.
This little witch beauty and her accessories
just for premium subscribers at Oddball Art Co.

I already had a completed canvas board with a great texture
and crackle finish painted, and ready to go.
It paired perfectly with a spiderweb doily and the
images from this awesome stamp set. And then it was
obvious that I needed to cut up a TH quote chip.
I sanded the edges, and then inked them using oxide inks
which gave them just the finish I was looking for.

Lastly, I added some bling and sparkle, some TH clips,
a chain, and some of my favorite and coveted Halloween ribbon.
Oh?! Did I forget to mention that I mounted her head
on an action wobble thingy? Well, I did, and it's perfect!

Thanks for stopping by.
Stay tuned for more Halloween makes, as I'm not even remotely
ready to start the Yule season.

Brewing up some Trouble

Look who's back again!!
I was invited to be a guest designer for
Creepy Cute Chronicles new image release today.

I have to admit that signing up for the
Creepy Cute Chronicles Exclusive membership was the best
$15 I have ever spent. Well worth the price of admission, folks!
If you haven't heard of it, you really must check out the details here.

The weekly chronicles freebie this week is this fabulous Mer-Witch.
She is quite the stunner!!

I had to color her up with Copics, as its my chosen medium to color with.
I tried to stay away from my standard orange, lime green, purple, and black
color scheme, but failed. I just don't see Halloween in any other colors.

I also don't usually "do" scenes, but this little lady was just too
perfect to fussy cut out of her underwater lair. She comes in a set of
images which you can arrange any way you'd like, or use her already in
the scene as shown. She comes with lots of accessories and even a friend.

I am still on my Nuvo drops kick. I used the green translucent drops
for her potion bubbles. And some White Blizzard glitter drops for some
underwater bubbles. I love these drops!

Lastly, I mounted the colored panel onto some black card stock
and added a sentiment from my Halloween sentiment collection.
I actually have an entire binder full of just Halloween words.
It's a sickness, but one I don't mind suffering from.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Have a great weekend!!!
And don't forget to stop by the Oddball Art Stamps website and
get signed up for the CCC and even go for it and sign up for the
Exclusive Membership as well. All the cool kids are doing it!!

Where's my Witches at?!

Back real quick with another Halloween make using another
Oddball image. Well, actually multiple images.

I love this kitty image that Lizzy drew to help heal
from the passing of her own sweet kitty.
I fussy cut the kitty after coloring her in with Copics,
and popped her on top of the headstone.

I am also a sucker for witchy things, so this hat was a must for this card.

I used an acetate ghost, with some TH Halloween words, a punched bat border,
and the finishing touch of Nuvo drops to bring this card together.

I was going for the familiar waiting for her witch, kind of vibe here.

I'd also like to enter this card in current challenge at

Oddball Halloween Trick or Treat

I've been busy with the chaos of life, but managed to find the time
to get some coloring done.
I was inspired by this Oddball Art Stamp, and then just went with it,
and actually produced a card for Halloween.
This adorable little rotten elephant is from the October Monthly Exclusive set.
All the more reason for you to pop for the $15 to join the member's club.

I colored him using Copic Warm Grays, and added pops of Halloween type colors.

I managed to work in a cupcake liner and an old Glow Skull from back in the day.
I finally figured out that if you cut into the cupcake liner like fringe, it will lay
flat. I've been struggling for far too long on that issue.

I also used some seriously vintage paper and adhesive border from my ridiculously
overstocked Halloween stash. And my new thing is to add Nuvo drops to everything.
I added the drops in White Blizzard, but they turned turquoise on the black liner.
I like it.

Thanks for stopping by today.

I'd like to enter this card in the current challenge at

Colorful Ghosties

Has hell completely frozen over?!
Is it raining frogs?!
Something is definitely in the air, since this is my second post
in a week, for the first time in what seems like years.
I am thrilled to be working with another Oddball Art Stamp image today.

I started off by printing the ghosties from the
onto some watercolor card stock.

Since it's been so long since I've colored anything, some of my Copics are
trying to dry out. I thought I'd check my even more neglected Zig watercolor markers,
and lo' and behold, they're still just as juicy as the day I bought them!

So, water color the ghosties, I did!

After my rudimentary attempt at water coloring, I decided to color
in the background using a black Copic marker. No way was I going to risk
ruining everything at this point by trying to watercolor in between the ghosties.

These little guys really pop against the black background!
I love it!!

Since this image is actually background paper, I decided to keep the entire
panel as my focal point. Too pretty and cute to cover it up.

I popped the image onto some linen textured lime green card stock, and
mounted it onto a simple black card.

I found the perfect sentiment from a retired Kraftin' Kimmie
rubber stamp set, and stamped it onto vellum to keep the ghostly feel.

Thanks for stopping by today!!
Happy Halloween!!!

Remember me?!

Long time no see, huh?
The last couple of years have really screwed up my crafting and creating.
And then it seems like the more I want to get back to creating, the more
shit life throws at me.
But,
I received an invite from Lizzy at Oddball Art Stamps to play along
this week using the new Poison Posies image she created using
my idea from a past facebook poll on her fb page.
This was just the kick in the tush I needed to get my Copics out and start
coloring my life again!!

This image is so much more than I had hoped for!!
So pretty, and wonderfully weird, and creepy, all at the same time.
Win, win, win!

I used the image with the blank banner so I could add my own
words. Which I instantly regretted after seeing my finished scribblings.
I was hoping for some beautiful script to fall out of my pen, but that
takes practice, which I haven't been doing.

Ultimately, I am thrilled with this card and how it turned out.
Considering I haven't been crafting much, this doesn't suck at all.
Well, except for the hand lettering...
I added a die cut I have had for years, but never used until now.
I think it works, along with some black Nuvo drops.
Luckily, my niece is a creeper just like her Aunt,
and she will love this card for her birthday.
FYI: This image is for tonight's Creepy Cute Chronicles freebie image.
Have you signed up yet?
If you haven't, you are really missing out!!

Remembering Aletha

This post today is part of a very special blog hop.
We are celebrating the life of an amazingly talented artist and friend.
The crafting community lost Aletha Jane Williams on May 5, 2019.
Those of us that worked with her on Design Teams or on Challenge Blogs
all agree that she was one of the sweetest and most talented women we knew.
We are not here to mourn her loss though.
This hop is happening in conjunction with a very special celebration
of her life and her art that her husband Bob is holding
in her home city of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Please join us in honoring our incredibly creative friend, Aletha.

When I think of Aletha I remember her amazing talent with
design, composition, and most of all color.
That lady had such a knack for creating with color.

Mitzi was sweet enough to create this adorable Sprite in honor of Aletha.
I'm a bit out of practice with my Copics, but I tried to color this purple passion
cutie as close to the actual flower as I could manage.

I never really know what to say in times like this, so I will just say,
"Thank you for your friendship and your colorful inspiration, Aletha.
You are very missed."

Please join us on our blog hop to honor our friend, Aletha.

Virgo Girls Rule!!!

It is so weird to be back here blogging again.
It's been far too few and in between posts over the last year.
Sadly, it's seems like the blogs are a thing of the past.
Fewer and fewer views as the months roll past.
But to enter some challenges it is still necessary to blog
about your project in order to enter.
Fair enough. I kind of miss sharing my makes
via the 'old fashioned' way.

I created this page for a chipboard book I have that was just
screaming to be made into something beautiful.
Mission accomplished!

I have been bugging Lizzy as to when she was going to unveil the
Virgo Girl in her Zodiac line of digital images.
Wait no more! She is gorgeous!
I had to color her up immediately after buying her, but then she lived on
my desk for a couple of weeks until inspiration struck.
I've been getting in touch with my witchy side, and have found
my love affair with the moon something to be celebrated.
I picked up a great paper pad at HL that is all about galaxies,
and unicorns and  moons. I swooned when I saw it.
I took one sheet of each 12 X12 design and trimmed them all down
to 6 x 6 sheets. So much easier to get proper use out of the pad this way.

I started layering die cuts, and found a great inspirational sentiment
to go with my Virgo page. I used the green die cut webbing and the
sparkly green spider to help move your eye around the page and balance out
the green from the her sash. I added my new love, Jewel Drops from Nuvo in
Key lime. I am loving how this turned out!!

In a Galaxy far far away...

Just had to squeeze in one more card before the month is over.
This time I used an Oddball Art Co. stamp.

I'm still trying to catch up on all of my thank you cards from the holidays.
I try to make each one with the recipient in mind.

I knew the second I saw this image that I wanted to make a card
for my dear friend, Nel with it. She was showing off her newest tattoo
at my New Year's Day open house. It was a mash up of the Death Star
and a Mickey head. She designed it herself.

I used some Oddball digi papers from the Space Skulls set.
I printed it out onto some sparkly paper and it looks amazing!
Goes perfectly with this awesome image of Princess Leia #301.
I made the "thank you's" myself ,and used some distress oxide inks
to kind of match the background paper.

I'd like to enter this card in the current challenge at Oddball Art Co.
with the theme of Razzle my Dazzle.
